Ting Li (known in Chinese as Li Ting, born Li Zheping, 4 February 2031) is the first and current President of the disputed and non-recognised Republic of McMUNCH (2070–2072, 2073–), established on 9 December 2070. He previous served as the 34th Mayor of Leightonfield from 24 June 2065 to 3 January 2071, when his mayorship and position as a councillor was suspended by the Leightonfield City Council in response to his declaration of independence. On two occasions (2050–2055, 2058–2064) he served as a Member of Parliament for the federal Division of Wilson, representing the Craftian Reform Party until 2063, then the Munch Republic Party (which he founded and is the current leader). He is infamous for his lax copyright laws and being the founder of the breakaway state of the Republic of McMUNCH, which is not recognised as a sovereign state by any country in the world.
