The Liberal Party (LP, known as the Liberals or by its Chinese name, the Ziyoudang or Tzuyutang) was a centrist and liberal political party in the Kingdom of Craftia. It was formed in 1850 by members of the Craftian Liberal Society to contest the inaugural general election in 1850. It sat in the centre of the political spectrum and was the dominant party in parliament until the 1880s. After the invasion of Craftia by the Miners Republic in 1892, the Liberal Party was disbanded and its members formed the Democratic League of Craftia, an underground society that aimed to restore democracy in Craftia. It would eventually achieve this in 1945. The Democratic League became the National Labour Party, who won the election in 1945, making the Liberal Party an indirect (and the earliest) ancestor to the modern-day National United Party.
