A parliamentary election was held on Sunday, 14 June 2054 to elect the inaugural Miners Republic People's Legislative Assembly. The election was the first since the democratisation of the Miners Republic in 2053, and the first free and democratic nationwide election since 1814.
The election resulted in a landslide majority for the incumbent Left Party government, winning 431 of the 500 seats in the new People's Legislative Assembly. The opposition consisted of the centrist Minean People's Party, led by Opposition Leader Chang Shulin, the right-wing Democratic Nationalist Party and the centrist Liberal Party.
