Christopher "Chris" Whatt (11 November 1982 – 6 March 2073) was a Craftian politician who was the 7th Premier of Jagsland, serving in this position three separate times (2021–2048, 2051–2060 and 2065–2066). Whatt became the leader of the Craftian Conservative Party in Jagsland in 2020, and quickly gained traction, becoming the first Conservative premier of the state in 2021. Whatt's first tenure lasted 27 years, and remained undefeated for 8 consecutive elections. Defeated in the 2048 state election, he remained as party leader and won the next election in 2051, defeating the National United Party after a single term. He became the longest-serving Premier in history (of any state) after surpassing Hendrick Rodd's record (Premier of Wintaro from 1989 to 2023, or 34 years), and continued as Premier until 2060 at age 78, when he stepped down in favour of his deputy Tony Plare, due to health issues. However, he remained in parliament and regained the premiership in 2065 after a leadership spill, and led his party to defeat in the 2066 state election. Becoming the oldest Craftian parliamentarian in recent history, he remained as Leader of the Opposition and Conservative Party leader until his death in 2073, aged 90.

Whatt was a MP in the Jagsland Legislative Assembly for almost 58 years from 2015 to 2073; this is the record for the longest unbroken tenure of any Craftian parliamentarian. He remains the longest-serving Premier of any state with a total of 37 years in office. His premiership has been ranked as one of the best due to the exponential economic growth experienced during his term, though it is also criticised for its corruption and many scandals. There is still controversy over whether Whatt exploited the electoral system with gerrymandering, branch stacking, corruption or even electoral fraud and vote rigging during his time in office.
