The Notchropolis 2072 Summer Olympic Games (French: Les Jeux olympiques d'été de 2072, Chinese: 淖车饶葆丽丝二零七十二年夏季奥运会, Bahasa Indonesia: 2072 Olimpiade Musim Panas), officially known as the Games of the XXIX Olympiad (Chinese: 第二十九届夏季奥林匹克运动会, Bahasa Indonesia: Game-29 Olimpiade) were an international multi-sport event which was celebrated between 10 September and 25 September in Notchropolis, Jebsten, Craftia. It was the second time that the Summer Olympics were held in Notchropolis, the first one being in 2016, and the third time the Summer Olympics were held in Craftia, the first two being in Notchropolis in 2016 and Bankera in 2052.
Notchropolis was selected as the host city for the 2072 games in 2065. Teams from 138 countries participated. The United Territories of Janaday won the most medals with 95, while Craftia came third with 60. The games cost was estimated to be C$7.7 billion. Existing facilities were used for some events, while new venues were constructed for others. In many cases old facilities had temporary seating installed for the Olympics and new facilities were built with seating that could be removed at a later date.
The Games received almost universal acclaim, with the organisation, volunteers, sportsmanship and Craftian public being lauded in the international media. Many supporters stated that the games were much more successful than the previous ones held in Notchropolis 56 years prior, which had issues with venues and transport being built in time.
